李嘉誠基金會「愛能助」組織碎化技術醫療計劃Li Ka Shing Foundation "Love Can Help" Histotripsy Subsidy Programme
李嘉誠基金會推出「愛能助：無創組織碎化技術醫療計劃」，計劃旨在為適合接受該治療但因經濟能力有限，或缺乏相關保險保障的香港永久性居民提供經濟援助，每年申請名額有限，額滿即止。如欲考慮申請，請填妥表格或聯絡「養和癌症中心服務熱線 (852) 5213 6365」。
申請者須符合下列資格：
- 已確診原發性肝癌
- 曾於香港公立醫院接受肝癌治療
- 自費透過養和的「肝癌組織碎化治療前評估計劃」，接受專科醫生評估、超聲波檢查及身體檢查（視乎超聲波結果而定），經臨床評估合適接受治療
- 符合李嘉誠基金會「愛能助：無創組織碎化治療醫療計劃」入息要求，包括未有保險覆蓋，及家庭總月收入低於HK$150,000港元
申請者如透過養和的「肝癌組織碎化治療前評估計劃」經臨床評估合適接受治療，並符合篩選資格，可獲李嘉誠基金會資助以HK$50,000港元接受肝癌組織碎化治療。
其他費用包括治療前評估費用、治療後診症費用、延長住院費及其他治療等相關費用，均不包含在「愛能助：無創組織碎化治療醫療計劃」中，申請人需自行承擔這些費用。
The Li Ka Shing Foundation (LKSF) launched the "Love Can Help: Histotripsy Subsidy Programme" to provide financial assistance to Hong Kong permanent residents with primary liver cancer who are clinically suitable for Histotripsy but lack financial means and do not have insurance coverage for this treatment, subject to other assessment criteria being met. Applicants must meet the following (including but not limited to) criteria:
- Diagnosed with primary liver cancer
- Have previously received liver cancer treatment in a Hong Kong public hospital
- Undergone self-funded assessment under HKSH's Pre-treatment Assessment Programme for Liver Cancer Histotripsy, including specialist consultation, ultrasound examination and physical check-up (depending on ultrasound findings), and is diagnosed to be clinically suitable for Histotripsy
- Meet the income and financial needs requirements of the Li Ka Shing Foundation "Love Can Help: Histotripsy Subsidy Programme", including having no insurance coverage for this treatment and total family income less than HK$150,000 per month.
Applicants who meet the selection criteria and are assessed under HKSH's Pre-treatment Assessment Programme for Liver Cancer Histotripsy to be clinically suitable will be eligible under the Li Ka Shing Foundation to receive Histotripsy treatment at HK$50,000.
Other medical fees, including pre-assessment fees, post-treatment consultation fees, extended hospitalisation and other medical treatments are not included in "Love Can Help: Histotripsy Subsidy Programme" and the Applicants will be responsible for these charges.
